Welcome

Thanks for visiting my blog. I began journaling about my daily life when I was eleven. Over the years, this has grown to become a way for me to share my thoughts rather than my daily life. I’m pretty open with sharing all the beautiful chaos of life with six children. I have to remind myself to extend grace to myself each and every day! It is my hope that my writings will help others to learn to extend grace to themselves too. After all, if it weren’t for the Grace of God, life would just be messy. I’m so glad that life can instead be a Beautiful Mess and is covered by His Beautiful Grace.

Wings Layout

This is a project that was begun by Landy LeBlanc at the Wings WOTG Night on Friday.  She began using extra paper to create 6x6 layouts but with the collaborative efforts of myself, Mary Ann Stapleton and Ronnie Walsh she created a beautiful 12x12 layout to accompany the WOTG project in her album.  The resulting layout turned out beautiful!

We used butterflies from the Wings paper as well as the January Stamp of the Month.  We curled the edges of the wings up to give a little deminsion.  On the stamped butterfly, we stamped it in vineyard berry ink and painted over it with the Create a Shade Pearl Paint.  After it dried, we cut it out!
