In the middle of our beautiful mess, we can find beautiful grace. Follow along as I homeschool, raise 6 wild kids, spend time with God, create beautiful paper crafts, and try to juggle it all without losing my mind. I have to extend grace to myself daily, and I hope that this blog helps you to remember to give yourself a bit of Grace too.
Welcome
Thanks for visiting my blog. I began journaling about my daily life when I was eleven. Over the years, this has grown to become a way for me to share my thoughts rather than my daily life. I’m pretty open with sharing all the beautiful chaos of life with six children. I have to remind myself to extend grace to myself each and every day! It is my hope that my writings will help others to learn to extend grace to themselves too. After all, if it weren’t for the Grace of God, life would just be messy. I’m so glad that life can instead be a Beautiful Mess and is covered by His Beautiful Grace.

This week's Challenge!!!! Challenge #4
Okay, I am so sorry that this is a few hours late. I meant to work on it yesterday but I got side tracked. This week's challenge is one that will help you to clean out your stash a bit. I want you to go through your embellishments, stickers and paper and pull out 3-4 of each that you deem too old or out of style to use. Once you have a few things that you think you will never use, I want you to sit down and actually use a few of them in a creative way. You can do this on a layout or a card or anything else that you can dream up. Try to do several layouts if needed so that you can use up all of the things that you pulled. If by chance you do not use all of them, don't add them back to your stash, pass them on to a friend or organization that can use them.
This is a great way to get yourself using up old supplies and cleaning out supplies that you will never use. It makes room for new products too. It's a Win-Win for you.
Some suggestions, just incase you can't figure out how to use some things:
paint or use paper to cover chipboard
use patterned papers to punch or cut out shapes such as butterflies or flowers.
take stickers and apply cardstock to the back, use popdots to make them stand up.
cut the title or pictures out of page toppers and use as elements on your page
the list can go on and on. Use your imagination and show us your finished project.
In my example I used an older paper pack from Close to My Heart and my coluzzle set. I got this paper pack in my kit when I became a consultant 3 years ago. I used it for everything for a while. This layout was a suggested one from the company (see they really do make everything Faster, Simpler and Easier). I had a lot of fun creating this one, even if I did use someone else's design. I haven't added pictures yet but I marked the photo sizes so that I can add the pictures later this week. Well, I hope you all have fun with this challenge.

I used an old CTMH paper pack to make some birthday cards for kids. I used this paper pack for some of Marianne's pictures with my cricut so I had all my stickers still. I used those and a small Happy birthday stamp to make these. See my new blog for the pictures.
