So, how's everyone doing with their challenges? I have actually gotten 3 layouts done in the past two weeks which is about my normal monthly average. The last two challenges have been very simple and easy. This week we are going to step it up a little. This weeks challenge is pretty specific to Close to My Heart customers but can be adapted for others. What I want you to do is set your photos aside and pick out one Level 2 paper pack that you would like to use. Grab a stamp set or even the My Stickease for that set as well as a few embellishments that match. Using Cherish, Imagine or Reflections How To programs, create as many layouts as you can. Remember to mark the size photos that you need on the mats so that you will have them. After you have completed the layout, you can crop your photos or have them printed in the sizes that you need for your layouts.
Scrapbooking this way allows you to be a little more creative with your embellishments because you aren't trying to be sure that they match perfectly with your photos. By adding your photos later, you can actually have them printed for sizes that you typically don't use and add them to the layout.
So, how many layouts did you get from one paper pack? I hope that you were able to find the time to get at least 3 layouts done. You probably still have lots of papers and scraps left too, huh? I know, I still haven't posted pictures. That's because I still haven't used up a whole pack. I have done 2 layouts and 20 cards. No joke! I used card bases and 2 extra sheets of cardstock but I still have 4 B&T papers left. I will be posting pics soon.
