Welcome

Thanks for visiting my blog. I began journaling about my daily life when I was eleven. Over the years, this has grown to become a way for me to share my thoughts rather than my daily life. I’m pretty open with sharing all the beautiful chaos of life with six children. I have to remind myself to extend grace to myself each and every day! It is my hope that my writings will help others to learn to extend grace to themselves too. After all, if it weren’t for the Grace of God, life would just be messy. I’m so glad that life can instead be a Beautiful Mess and is covered by His Beautiful Grace.

Happy Easter Layout

I decided to make this layout after completing a mini-album set with this paper.  I had a few sheets of B&T paper left, added a few sheets of cardstock and you see the results.  This was such a fun layout to do and was completely unplanned.  I sat down with Cherish, picked out a layout and then decided what pictures to add.  This is completely opposite of how I usually scrapbook.  Once I added the photos, I went back to add a title and then decided to use the egg stamps to really add to the layout.  I am so used to chosing photos, stamps, etc before I ever sit down to complete a layout so this was really out of my comfort zone.  I am so excited with how great this all turned out without actually planning everything at first.

Supplies used:  Easter Eggs stamps (unavailable), Eastertime stamps, Sweet Leaf cardstock, Chocolate cardstock, Colonial White cardstock, Life Delights paper pack (unavailable), Sunkiss Yellow ink, Sunny Yellow ink, Amethyst ink, Hydrangea ink, Spring Iris ink, Bubblegum ink, Lilac Mist ink, Cherish Accent Emphasis layout.
