In the middle of our beautiful mess, we can find beautiful grace. Follow along as I homeschool, raise 6 wild kids, spend time with God, create beautiful paper crafts, and try to juggle it all without losing my mind. I have to extend grace to myself daily, and I hope that this blog helps you to remember to give yourself a bit of Grace too.
Welcome
Thanks for visiting my blog. I began journaling about my daily life when I was eleven. Over the years, this has grown to become a way for me to share my thoughts rather than my daily life. I’m pretty open with sharing all the beautiful chaos of life with six children. I have to remind myself to extend grace to myself each and every day! It is my hope that my writings will help others to learn to extend grace to themselves too. After all, if it weren’t for the Grace of God, life would just be messy. I’m so glad that life can instead be a Beautiful Mess and is covered by His Beautiful Grace.

Cleaning out!!!
Through the 7 years that I have been scrapbooking my techniques have changed drastically. When I began, I would pick out my patterned paper and then my cardstock and go to creating. Well, over the past 2-3 years I have began using kits more and more so two large accordian files of paper have to go. I sorted through those today and kept only the ones that I knew I could use and I am going to create my own little kits with those and file the kits by theme. My ribbons and fibers are all a bit better organized but I don't think that I am going to add those to the kits. I can just pull those out as needed.
I rounded up all of my adhesives (why do I have so many that are exactly the same) and put them all in a drawer together, sitting right on my scrap space. My newest embellies all finally got sorted into my embellishment tote from CTMH last night and that cleared out one small drawer too. I have a strange habit of putting new things in spots so that "I will use them quickly" and I seem to never move them to the permanent housing. Well that is done so maybe I can keep it up.
I have a big problem though. I have a large bin on my table that I usually put my kits in as I get them and then they go into my Cropper Hopper files. Well, the CH files are full and my bin is full and neither filing system seems to work for storing kits. Also, while my stamps are greatly organized in CTMH containers that are labeled with the correct catagory, I never seem to know which catagory the set that I am looking for would fall under. I seriously need some advice on organizing my kits and recatagorizing my stamps. Those things are on my list for tomorrow so I will write later in the week and let you know what I come up with.
Well, Levi is throwing a fit and I have got to start dinner so I guess that's all for today. Wish me well as I tackle this major clean out and organizational challenge. Audrey
