Welcome

Thanks for visiting my blog. I began journaling about my daily life when I was eleven. Over the years, this has grown to become a way for me to share my thoughts rather than my daily life. I’m pretty open with sharing all the beautiful chaos of life with six children. I have to remind myself to extend grace to myself each and every day! It is my hope that my writings will help others to learn to extend grace to themselves too. After all, if it weren’t for the Grace of God, life would just be messy. I’m so glad that life can instead be a Beautiful Mess and is covered by His Beautiful Grace.

Challenge #1

This week's challenge is a simple one to get us all started. Let's create a 2 page layout featuring our kids at the park. If you don't have pictures of your kids at the park, then pack a picnic and head to the park tomorrow. Use what ever embellishments that you have: ribbons, rub-ons, stamps, etc. Let's use at least 3 different embellishments though. Your layout can feature as many or as few pictures as you would like to use. Have fun and don't forget to post! Audrey

  1. Okay, I have completed one layout for this week's challenge. I plan to do one more so that I will have this trip to the park completely scrapbooked. These pictures of Elijah on the pelican swing got their own page because this was his first trip to the Greenwood park and he fell in love with that swing. Two years later, he still loves that same swing and it's the first thing he plays on, as well as the last each time that we visit.
